2016 Scarborough Chess Congress Preview


There is still time to enter this year’s Scarborough Chess Congress! The largest Congress in the country takes place between 21st-23rd October 2016 at the spacious Spa Complex on the seafront.

There are already over 300 entries across the five sections but there is still time to squeeze in a few more.

  • Open – 60 entries headlined by GM Mark Hebden and IM Andrew Ledger
  • Major U171 – 51 entries
  • Intermediate U151 – 65 entries
  • Minor U136 – 60 entries
  • Foundation U121 – 68 entries

You can enter and pay online here.

There will be live DGT boards that will be showing the top games on the official website if you can’t make it there in person. Also keep an eye out for our social media on Twitter and Facebook for pictures and updates!
