In the Bradford League, last year’s Division 1 Champions Bradford Knights have got off to an excellent start, only dropping one draw all season. They have a two-point lead over Undercliffe B. Ilkley B have been the surprise package, after being promoted from Division 2 they are above the relegation zone which includes a scalp over the strong College Graduates.

Bradford Chess Club also lead the way in Division 2 after their “162” team were relegated from the top Division last year. Newly-promoted Legion of the Damned have proven to be their closest challengers. Division 3 sees a half-way clean sweep for Bradford as the Spitfires lead the way over Undercliffe C and the rest of the chasing pack.

The Winning Move
